Bluewater Sailing runs its Saturday morning beginner keelboat class at Marina del Rey, spending the first thirty minutes dockside on safety and boat orientation before motoring out to sail upwind and downwind in the open bay. An ASA instructor is on board for the full three hours to coach each crew member as they rotate through helming, trimming, and crewing positions. All gear and water are provided.
