Louisiana Botanical Candle Workshop

Students select from a fragrance palette built around botanicals tied specifically to South Louisiana, native magnolia, sweet olive, Louisiana iris, Spanish moss, and bayou florals, and learn to blend them into a balanced candle scent while the studio host explains the aromatic history behind each ingredient. The hands-on session covers wax temperature, fragrance load, wick selection for different vessel diameters, and the cooling procedure that prevents sinkholes and surface cracking in the finished candle. Every participant pours their custom scent into a signature refillable vessel and takes it home the same day, with the formula recorded so they can request a refill at the studio or recreate the blend at a future workshop.
