SMAart Studio's Sunday Raku workshop in Nob Hill walks you through the outdoor reduction firing process step by step, from applying glaze to pulling a glowing piece from the kiln and placing it in the reduction chamber to develop its metallic and crackle surface. Each piece comes out different and the outdoor setting makes it a memorable afternoon craft session. All materials, a bisque form, and firing equipment are provided.
