About this class
Natural light portraiture requires you to read the quality and direction of light rather than controlling it with equipment, and this workshop teaches you to do that outdoors in Charleston's historic district. You work on positioning subjects in open shade, using reflected fill light from bright walls, and handling the contrast of direct sun. The class uses a rotation system so everyone practices both shooting and modeling.
