Hand building is the oldest form of pottery and one of the most freeing, relying on pinch, coil, and slab techniques rather than a spinning wheel. In this workshop you learn all three methods and combine them to produce a finished piece with your own decorative surface treatments. Instructors walk the room constantly, so beginners and returning students alike get targeted coaching throughout the session.
