This three-hour evening workshop at Penguin Foot Pottery in Logan Square introduces the potter's wheel to people who have never touched clay. An instructor guides you through centering, opening, and pulling the walls of a bowl or cup, and you choose a glaze color for your finished piece. The clay, tools, glazing, and firing are all included, and your piece is ready to pick up about two weeks later.
