Box joints, also called finger joints, are one of the strongest and most visually appealing ways to join the corners of a wooden box, and this workshop teaches you to cut them accurately using a table saw and a shop-made jig. You work through the setup process for the jig, cut a test set of joints in scrap wood before cutting your final pieces, and assemble a small box with a fitted lid using wood glue and clamps. You take the finished box home once it has dried.
