Pinch Pottery Studio's private wheel session pairs you one-on-one with a ceramicist for a ninety-minute introduction to wheel throwing that covers wedging clay, centering on the wheel, opening a floor, pulling walls, and shaping a basic cylinder or bowl. The downtown studio at 937 E Street has a quiet, focused atmosphere and instructors are known for patient, clear teaching that gets most students to a standing piece by the end of the session. All clay, tools, firing, and glazing are included.
