This is a 6-week stand-up comedy course meeting once per week. Enrollment covers the full six-week run.
Over six weeks you learn the mechanics of joke writing including tags, callbacks, and misdirection from a working comedian who performs regularly at clubs around New York City. Each session builds on the last, moving from finding your comedic voice to developing a cohesive five-minute set with direct instructor feedback on your material every week. The program ends with a graduation performance on Gotham Comedy Club's main stage in front of a real audience.
