About this class
The Viscount Dance Studio runs three consecutive salsa class levels on Monday evenings starting at 6:15pm, with the Level 1 Beginning session covering the basic salsa step, cross-body lead, right turn, and left turn in a 60-minute format designed for adults with no prior partner dance experience. No partner is required as the class rotates partners throughout to help every student develop both leader and follower skills. The studio at SE Sandy Blvd has been teaching social partner dancing in Portland for over 20 years.
