Morning Ceramics Studio offers this beginner handbuilding workshop as a great introduction to working with clay without a pottery wheel. Students explore three core handbuilding techniques -- pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction -- and leave with one or two pieces ready to be bisque-fired. The studio is open Wednesday through Sunday and offers classes for all ages and experience levels in Portland.
