The spirits and cocktail pairing class at William Price Distilling in Oak Forest extends the basic cocktail session with a guided tasting of three of the distillery's craft spirits alongside a discussion of how each spirit's flavor profile was developed during production. You then build one cocktail designed to highlight each spirit's character, learning how to match a spirit's strengths to a cocktail format and garnish. The 90-minute session is relaxed and conversational and is a good introduction to thinking about spirits as ingredients rather than just vehicles for alcohol.
