Weekend Improv Intensive Workshop

iO Theater's weekend intensive workshops compress a week's worth of technique development into a single three-hour session, focusing on a specific aspect of longform improv such as character work, scene initiation, or Harold structure with depth that a standard drop-in class can't accommodate. Led by a senior instructor or a working iO ensemble member, these sessions move quickly and demand active participation throughout. They're an excellent option for students between terms who want to maintain momentum, or for experienced improvisers visiting Chicago who want a taste of the iO approach.
