Pottery Wheel for Beginners

Nashville Pottery's beginner wheel class teaches students to center, open, and pull clay into simple forms on the pottery wheel in a two-hour session with ongoing instructor guidance. East Nashville's creative energy permeates the studio, and the instructors are patient and skilled at helping first-timers work through the physical challenge of keeping the clay centered under their hands. All materials and a single firing are included, and students pick up their glazed pieces once the kiln cycle is complete a few weeks later.
