Watercolor Workshop at the Gibbes

A Saturday morning watercolor class led by a professional artist using works from the Gibbes' permanent collection as reference material, covering wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, color mixing for transparent washes, and how to preserve whites without masking. Instruction begins in the galleries where the group studies a selected work before returning to the studio to apply what they observed. All materials are provided and the session is appropriate for beginners and improvers alike.
