About this class
This session introduces you to flameworking using borosilicate glass rods and a tabletop torch. You will learn how to hold and rotate the glass evenly in the flame, seal and reshape tubing, and form small beads and simple shapes. Unlike hot shop glassblowing, flameworking is done at a bench scale which means you can see the detail of your work up close while you make it.
