About this class

West Coast Swing is danced in a slot on the floor and has a distinctive elastic connection that gives both partners room to express musicality while staying connected. VMAC's intro class covers the anchor step, sugar push, and the follower/leader dynamic in a format that gets you dancing with partners quickly rather than drilling solo footwork for most of the class. Social dancing after class is encouraged and usually continues informally.
