Clay By The Bay runs a two-hour Saturday evening pottery experience near Fisherman's Wharf that covers both hand-building and wheel-throwing in a single session. No experience is required, and an instructor guides every step from wedging your clay block to shaping your first wheel-thrown form. The studio handles all glazing and firing after class, returning two completed ceramic pieces per participant within four to six weeks.
