Transformer Gallery's pottery painting sessions put a selection of bisqueware in front of you, from mugs and plates to more sculptural forms, and let you paint them with food-safe glazes at your own pace. Staff explain techniques including wax-resist, layering for color depth, and basic brush control, and the gallery fires completed pieces and holds them for pickup. The surrounding gallery space shows rotating contemporary art exhibitions throughout your session.
