Aerial hoop, also called lyra, is one of the most visually striking disciplines in circus arts, and Afterglow's intro workshop teaches you to mount, balance, and perform basic static poses and transitions in the hoop. Grip strength and body tension are key, and the instructor breaks down how to engage the right muscles so your work looks clean rather than effortful. Sessions run for students who have some upper body fitness but no prior aerial experience.
