Intro to Metalsmithing

About this class

This intro session covers the fundamental tools and safety practices of a jewelry studio, then moves directly into making a simple copper piece using sawing, filing, and basic forming techniques. The goal is to build enough confidence with the tools that you can sign up for more specific project-based classes afterward, and instructors calibrate their teaching to whoever is in the room rather than rushing through a fixed script. All materials are provided.
