Ceramics Studio Class

About this class

Art League Houston's ceramics class is a weekly two-hour studio session where participants explore both wheel throwing and hand-building techniques with instruction from an experienced ceramics artist. The class covers coiling, slab construction, and surface decoration in the hand-building portions and centering, opening, and pulling on the wheel, with each student working on their own projects at their own pace throughout the semester. All clay and glazing are included in the class fee, and the kiln firings are scheduled so students can pick up finished pieces before the end of each semester.
