Ostwald Workshops in West Oakland runs a beginner jewelry workshop where jeweler Peter Ostwald teaches sawing, filing, and soldering metal at a proper jeweler's bench in a small group. You work hands-on with professional tools to make a finished piece while the instructor gives close individual feedback. All tools and materials are provided and the studio is near the West Oakland BART station.
