Saber is the fastest and most explosive of the three fencing weapons, and this Wednesday class is the best place in Midtown Manhattan to learn it from scratch. Coaches break down the unique rules and tactics of saber, teaching cutting actions, parries, and the all-important right-of-way concept that governs scoring. The small class format means you get plenty of floor time to practice footwork and blade work before graduating to supervised bouts.
