Hula Dance Class

About this class

The Waikiki Community Center has offered hula classes for decades as part of its mission to preserve and share Hawaiian culture with residents and visitors alike. This weekly class at 310 Paoakalani Avenue introduces students to the graceful hand gestures, hip movements, and rhythmic footwork that tell stories through traditional hula. Participants of all ages and backgrounds are welcome and no prior dance experience is required.
