Introduction to Manual Photography

About this class

This beginner workshop teaches participants how to take full creative control of their camera using manual settings for aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. The class blends short lectures with live shooting exercises both inside the studio and in the surrounding Mid-City neighborhood. No prior photography experience is needed, and any camera including a smartphone can be used.
