This three-hour intro class covers everything needed to operate a sewing machine with confidence: threading the machine, winding a bobbin, adjusting tension, and sewing straight seams and curves on practice fabric before cutting into the final project. By the end of the session, each participant finishes a small zippered pouch using fabric selected from the studio collection, which means no materials are needed beyond a pair of scissors if you have them. Instructors work one-on-one with each student throughout the session.
