Level 1 is where every DCH comedian starts, introducing the core tools of improvisational theater through games and scene exercises that build listening, agreement, and spontaneous character work from the ground up. Each two-hour class session focuses on a specific set of skills, and the ensemble format means you practice alongside classmates who are all at the same starting point. No acting experience is required, and the supportive environment makes it easy to take risks without fear of judgment.
