Drawing Fundamentals

About this class

The Honolulu Museum of Art School's Drawing Fundamentals class is a structured multi-week course that covers line, form, value, and composition through observational exercises designed to build confident drawing habits. Taught by working artists in the museum's dedicated Art School studios, students work from still life arrangements, geometric forms, and eventually the figure. The summer session runs July through September with registration opening in May; all drawing materials are available for purchase at the Art School supply area.
