A beginner-friendly class in long-form improv that teaches the "yes, and" principle through escalating warm-up games and two-person scene exercises designed to loosen students up before they ever think about being funny in front of other people. Coaches emphasize listening, commitment, and agreement as the three most important skills in improv work, and the class structure reflects that priority, every exercise is chosen to develop those capacities directly rather than producing laughs through tricks or prepared material. Students who complete a six-week series have enough foundation to participate in the studio's monthly community jams and, if they choose, audition for a house team in the following semester.
