Kulak Ceramic

Kulak Ceramic is a small-group handbuilding studio on 14th Street in Santa Monica, founded in Istanbul and now offering structured adult workshops focused entirely on handbuilding techniques rather than wheel throwing. Each course runs four Saturday sessions capped at six students, covering coiling, slab construction, and pinch pot methods in enough depth that students leave with both finished pieces and a real understanding of how to work the clay by hand. All materials and kiln firing are included, so there is nothing to bring beyond an interest in making something by hand.
