Westside Comedy Theater

Westside Comedy Theater has been running classes and shows in Santa Monica since 2009, offering a structured three-level curriculum in stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy taught by working comedians who perform at the theater regularly. Every class session wraps up with a live showcase on stage so students perform in front of a real audience before the program ends, which is the actual goal of most people who sign up. The theater is tucked in an alley off the Third Street Promenade, has no drink minimum, and has built a genuine local following as one of the best comedy venues on the westside.
