Silverlake Conservatory of Music

The Silverlake Conservatory of Music is a nonprofit school founded by Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, offering group and private instruction in guitar, bass, drums, piano, and voice for students of all ages and experience levels. Adult group classes run in six-week sessions and are built around learning real songs from the first class, with music theory introduced only as it applies to what you are actually playing. Tuition is kept affordable on purpose as part of the school's mission to make music education accessible to the neighborhood.
