The Groundlings
📍 7307 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CAThe Groundlings is one of America's most celebrated improv and sketch comedy schools, operating out of its Melrose Avenue theater since 1974. The alumni list includes Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, Lisa Kudrow, Phil Hartman, and more than a dozen Saturday Night Live cast members. Classes are taught by working Groundlings company members and range from beginner improv all the way through advanced sketch writing, with each level building directly toward the next.
