New York Film Academy

The New York Film Academy at Battery Park runs intensive one-week filmmaking workshops where students write, shoot, direct, and edit their own short film using HD cameras, lighting equipment, and digital editing software provided by NYFA. Instructors are working industry professionals who teach hands-on rather than in lecture format, guiding students through the full production pipeline from script to screen in a single week. Every student leaves with a completed short film and a practical understanding of how all the roles on a set fit together.
