Mastercutter Academy

Mastercutter Academy is a hands-on hairstyling workshop program run by 30-year hairdresser Laara Raynier at District 87 Salon on the Bowery in SoHo. Students work on live models throughout the session, learning the actual cuts rather than practicing on mannequins, which means every technique has immediate real-world feedback. Classes are kept small so every participant gets significant one-on-one instruction time with Laara.
