Second City New York

Second City has been training improvisers in Chicago since 1959 and brought their curriculum to a Williamsburg location that offers the same multi-week training program. Their Level 1 course teaches the foundational concept of "Yes, And" through ensemble exercises designed to build spontaneity, listening, and the ability to commit to whatever your scene partner offers. Drop-in sessions are also available for people who want to try improv once before committing to a full course.
