City Island Stables

City Island Stables has been offering horseback riding on City Island in the Bronx since 1994, with a small herd of well-trained horses suited to riders of all experience levels. Private lessons cover stance, balance, steering, and safe horse handling, with certified instructors adjusting the content to whether you are a first-timer or an experienced rider looking to refine technique. Trail rides follow paths along the waterfront with an instructor leading and providing real-time guidance throughout.
