The Meat Hook

The Meat Hook is a whole-animal butcher shop in East Williamsburg that sources from small regional farms and has been breaking down animals in Brooklyn since 2009. Their hands-on butchery classes are taught at full station setups where every participant works on their own animal, not just watches a demonstration. Classes cover everything from chicken breakdown and sausage making to whole pig butchery, and you leave with a significant portion of what you worked on.
