๐ 215 W 57th St, New York, NYFounded in 1875, the Art Students League is one of the oldest and most respected art schools in America, operating out of a landmark Beaux-Arts building on 57th Street in Midtown Manhattan. The League offers open sketch sessions with live models every weekday afternoon and on Saturdays, where artists of any skill level can draw or paint from life without enrolling in a formal course. Tuition-based monthly courses in drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture are also available, taught by working artists who have included Georgia O'Keeffe and Jackson Pollock among past instructors.
