Glassblowing Experience: Paperweight and Heart

Ignite Glass Studios on North Armour Street offers individual glassblowing lessons where you work one-on-one with a professional glass artist to create two or three finished pieces using hot glass equipment in a real working studio. The session covers gathering molten glass on a blowpipe, shaping it using tools and gravity, and adding color using powdered glass pigments to personalize your pieces. You leave with a paperweight and a heart-shaped piece, both of which are cooled in the annealer and available to pick up the next day.
