Hand Building Fundamentals (6-Week Course)

About this class

Hand building is the practice of shaping clay without a wheel, using techniques like slab rolling, coiling, and pinching to build up forms by hand. This six-week course introduces each of those methods and applies them to both functional and decorative projects across the sessions, so you leave having worked in multiple techniques. All clay, tools, and kiln firings are included in the class fee, and students take home their glazed pieces at the end of the course.
