Wheel Throwing for Beginners

About this class

Lillstreet Art Center's wheel throwing class introduces you to the pottery wheel in a hands-on session where you learn to center clay, open the floor, pull the walls, and shape basic cylinder and bowl forms under the guidance of a working ceramicist. The class includes all clay, glazing materials, and kiln firing so your pieces come back as finished ceramics within a few weeks. No prior pottery experience is needed and the format is relaxed enough to make mistakes without frustration.
