Alliance Française de Chicago's beginner conversational class is a short-form session designed to get you speaking French from the very first meeting, covering pronunciation, essential greetings, and the building blocks of simple present-tense sentences in a small group format with a native-speaking instructor. The approach prioritizes spoken practice over grammar drills, using pair and group exercises to build comfort speaking out loud before worrying too much about correctness. This class series runs over four weeks and meets once per week.
