Aerial Silks for Beginners

About this class

Kinetic Arts Center's beginner aerial silks class introduces climbing technique, basic wraps, and three or four foundational figures on long fabric panels suspended from the rig, building grip strength and body awareness in a session appropriate for adults with no prior aerial or gymnastics experience. Safety mats are placed under the rig throughout the class and the instructor provides hands-on spotting during each new figure. The West Oakland location is two blocks from BART.
