Private Surf Lesson

About this class

This two-hour private lesson starts on the beach with instruction on stance, paddling mechanics, and the pop-up before your instructor takes you into the water for actual wave riding. All equipment is provided including a soft-top board and wetsuit, and the session ratio is one instructor per one to four students so everyone gets hands-on attention throughout. Corky Carroll's has been teaching on this stretch of Bolsa Chica State Beach for decades, and the instructors know the breaks well.
