Flying Trapeze Class

About this class

A two-hour drop-in flying trapeze class on a full-size rig with a safety net, welcoming first-timers and returning students alike, with coaches individually adjusting instruction to each student's level. Participants learn takeoffs, leg hangs, and catches over the course of the session, which is capped at 10 students so everyone gets multiple turns on the bar. The class is held at Circus Academy's Brooklyn indoor facility and at the outdoor Pier 40 location on the Hudson River during summer months.
