About this class
Each reading group series is led by a published author, editor, professor, or librarian who structures discussion around a specific writer, theme, or literary period, making it far more instructional than a casual book club. Participants read assigned books before each session and come prepared for guided analysis of narrative craft, theme, and context in a small-group setting inside the Center's 85,000-volume Brooklyn library. Groups run each season on a rotating lineup of topics and typically meet six times per series.
