AURA Candle Bar on Southport Avenue pairs you with a Grasse Institute-trained scent consultant for a one-hour session where you blend a custom fragrance from more than 110 oils covering every category from fresh citrus and clean woods to deep florals and sweet gourmand notes, then pour it into your choice of vessel and wax type to create a finished candle to take home. The consultant guides the blending process with prompts and samples rather than just handing you a menu, so the result reflects how you actually want your space to smell. Sessions accommodate one to six guests.
