Multi-Session: Ring Making (7-Week Course)

This seven-week metalsmithing course at San Diego Jewelry Academy includes ring making as a core project, taking you from a flat strip of sterling silver to a finished ring with a proper solder seam, filed and polished to a smooth finish. The instructor covers tube sizing, forming the ring around a mandrel, soldering the seam closed without gaps, and the progression of sandpaper grits that produces a professional polish. You leave the course with multiple wearable pieces you made yourself.
